participants are deemed to have complied with these rules. No express

or implied warranty of safety shall result from publications or compliance

with these rules and/or regulations. They are intended as a guide for the

conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against injury or

death to participants, spectators, or officials. Please note that the track

promoters/association shall be empowered to permit minor deviations

be there to race, see track officials, as you can designate someone to

draw for you, provided they pay your registration and pit pass fees. If

you do not show you get no points and no refunds.

3. START TIME - Hot laps will start at 7:00pm or immediately after the

drivers meeting.

4. REFUNDS - No refunds will be given once hot laps have started. If

entries and under 8 lap heats,12 lap features. Kids 5 entries and up 8

lap heats, 12 lap features. Kids 4 entries and under 6 lap heats, 10 lap

features .

6. LINE-UPS - Heat race line-ups will be determined by drawing a

number for starting position. Features will be the order in which you

finished the heat. If a driver is not on the grid when the class is sent to

the track they will automatically have to start on the rear unless

someone from the drivers crew lets an official know they need time. You

must line up in race order on the grid or you will start in the rear, unless

you inform the grid official with a valid reason why you were unable to

line up properly.

7. RACE STARTS - All starts and re-starts will be entering TURN

THREE. A white chalk line will signify the start line and finish line at the

flag stand.

8. RE-STARTS - Complete re-start until a lap has been completed, after

the First try karts will line up single file. Note, if anyone drives in over

there head on start thinking you will get your spot back, it will not

happen, anyone involved in the wreck will go to the rear and the person

who caused the wreck will go to the Complete rear. On a Restart a Cone

will be Placed at Flag Stand There will be no Passing till after you are

past the restart cone.

9. FLAGMAN - The flagman will control the start of the race as

conditions of track permit. If your kart experiences a problem at the grid,

prior to the green flag, you will be given five laps to get on the track. The

kart will be removed from the event if unsuccessful. The five lap rule is a

general guideline. If we see that you will soon be ready we may allow

more time, especially for kid's classes. A race may be stopped at any

time if the flagman or officials contemplate dangerous or unsafe

conditions.

10. CAUTIONS - When the yellow flag is displayed, slow down

immediately. DO NOT wait until you cross the start/finish line to

decrease speed.

If the caution comes out for you or your kart, you go to the rear.

Examples: You lose your neck brace, your bumper is dragging, etc.

Once caution is out, you are not penalized for spin or stopping on track.

If it is the flagman's opinion that a kart has no choice, but to spin out to

avoid serious contact with a kart or group of karts out of normal racing

position, that kart will not be sent to the rear. Any kart/driver involved in

three cautions will be given the black flag. The definition of "Involved"

will be determined by track officials. We will take consideration for kids,

especially new drivers. All classes will be allowed to restart engines

three times. All classes will be given three laps to get order for racing

after any cautions occur. No laps will be given for change or repair of flat

tires once the race has started. Tools and changes are allowed on the

grid and the track before the race starts. . Drivers spinning out on

starts/restarts or before a lap is scored will be sent to the rear.

11. ACCIDENTS - Accidents will be investigated, and the involved karts

may be required to stop for inspection by officials in charge. Race

officials may also inspect driver helmets and other safety apparel for

damage.

12. DRIVER INJURY - If a driver involved in an accident appears to be

injured, the Race Director may refuse to allow the driver to continue to

race. (Ref. WKA Rule 106.15.2)

13. RED FLAG - During a red flag, two representatives for each kart are

allowed to enter the track. No tools, air pressure changes or changes to

karts allowed. If there's a potential safety issue, show a track official,

they will assist you in fixing it. EXAMPLE: Zip-tie loose body panel. You

will be allowed to continue for safety repairs.

14. STOPPING ON TRACK - If a driver is forced to stop on the racing

surface during a race, the competitor must raise both hands to signal

approaching drivers that he/she is immobile. The driver is also

responsible for moving the kart to a safe area as quickly as possible.

15. SLOWING ON TRACK - When a kart slows from racing speed on

the track, the driver must signal to approaching competitors by raising a

hand high enough to be clearly visible from behind.

16. RAINOUTS - A race will be counted as complete once 80% of heats

are finished: feature points will be awarded per finish order of heat. On

nights with a chance of rain, classes with the most karts will be

scheduled to run first. If heat races are complete for all but 4 classes

with 4 or more karts and we rain out, the race will count as a feature. 4

remaining classes and classes with 4 or less karts will run their feature

10 laps the following week right after hot laps. Then, that week's heat

race will run. Special events and wing karts do not count as classes.

Kids karts and classes with 4 or less are not part of the 80%.

17. ENGINE CHANGE - If you change a kart or an engine after it has

been qualified, you will automatically start on the rear of the field.

18. UNSPORTSMANLIKE DRIVING - Unsportsmanlike driving is

defined as bumping, crowding, chopping, blocking, or pushing other

karts. It will not be tolerated. (Ref. WKA Rule 106.2.1 & 106.2.2) 1st

offense will be a warning and a position at the end of the field. 2nd

offense will result in the driver receiving the black flag and the loss of all

points for that event. EXAMPLE: Turning down into a kart that has

position on you to pass to stop their momentum is considered

unsafe/unsportsmanlike driving if the nose of their kart is 1/2 way up

your kart.

19. SCALES ? All karts must weigh in after both the "heat" qualification

and the "feature? race. Weighing in light for heat qualification or failing to

weigh in will result in starting last for the feature. Weighting in light for

feature or failure to weigh in will result in disqualification and no points

for the entire event. All engines MUST BE SHUT OFF prior to crossing

the scales.

20. SUBSTITUTE DRIVER - A substitute driver can be used twice a

season for injuries or illness, but the substitute driver must start the heat

race in the rear. If driver change occurs due to injury during a race, that

event does not count as one of the two substitutions. The original driver

will receive all points until after the second race event. After the second

race event all points and winnings will go to the new driver.

21. REPLACEMENT DRIVER ? Every driver is also allowed a 1-TIME

replacement driver per season for any reason. Points racers can use a

substitute driver for injury and a 1-TIME replacement driver and still

receive their attendance BONUS points. The substitute or replacement

driver may use their own kart or the original drivers kart for the race

event(s). Replacement driver can qualify the kart and the original driver

can show up and run features and keep the starting position, however, it

uses up the 1-TIME replacement driver.

22. CLASS CHANGE ? Anyone requesting a change in classes MUST

have proof of age to show at registration. Class change can ONLY move

upward. Once you advance, you may not move back down. Seven Stars

Speedway, LLC allows you to move up in class 3 times throughout the

second half of the season without having to stay up in class. During

moving up the 3 times, you may enter both classes.

23. YEAR-END AWARDS ? You must run in at least 60% of the races to

qualify for the end of the year awards. You Are Required to Attend The

Banquet to Receive Year End Awards, Unless Special arrangements are

made in advance.

24. ADD CLASSES ? If you wish to add a different class to the order,

bring three karts and present it to the track promoters. Again, drivers

must run 60% of the scheduled races to receive year-end awards. Track

officials reserve the right to eliminate any classes with less than 4 karts,

or if allowed to run with another class, reserve the right to separate the

class at any time.

25. COMBINING CLASSES ? The Race Director may combine classes:

classify entrants into groups according to driver experience, lap times, or

other factors for purposes of safety or event expediency, but not by age.

Race officials may conduct events restricting certain races to a certain

classification of drivers or total number of entries.

26. CLASS ORDER ? A class race may be skipped temporarily for any

reason, but may still race that night. EXAMPLE: One or more drivers are

registered in multiple classes that are close together and the driver

doesn’t have enough time for needed changes to kart.

driver will be given a 2 race grace period, also known as Drop Races?.

engine is found illegal, the appropriate fee will be returned to the

protester and the protestee will lose all points for that event. Anyone not

accepting the protest will be considered illegal and will result in the loss

of points for that event. If an individual is black flagged from a race they

are ineligible to protest another driver, engine or kart. Protests will be

announced at the scales so the karts can be separated.

7. SATISFACTION ? After tech, if you are not satisfied with the tech

procedure or results you have the right to protest for a $100.00 fee. This

protest fee must go to Jacob or Jeff ONLY and part in question will be

teched by another qualified Technical Inspector chosen by the Race

Director. The part in question will remain with the Race Director. This

protest must be made that night; no later protests will be accepted.

8. If Tech Inspector is not present at the track on race night, the Race

Director reserves the right to keep the engine or part in his possession

for 48hrs to be teched by a qualified Tech Inspector of Race Director's

choice. Kart owner(s) will have the option to be present at the teching.

Refusal to leave the engine or part in question with the Race Director

will be considered illegal and no points will be awarded for that event or

events for that night. The track will have a container for the motor or part

in question. If you have a lock with you, you will be allowed to lock the

container with your lock. The container will remain with the Race

Director.

9. ILLEGAL ? Defined as an item out of spec, not an intentional violation

of WKA Rules as determined by Tech Inspector. Any engine, or other

component found to be illegal during technical inspection may be

impounded at the discretion of the Technical Inspector or Race Director

for later inspection. If the components are still found to be illegal, they

will become the property of Seven Stars Speedway, LLC and will result

in the loss of points for that event only. You have the right to appeal any

decision made by a Race Director, as per WKA Rules to track officials.

Anyone found illegal more than two times will be suspended from racing

for two weeks.

10. CHEATING -Defined as the known attempt to violate track or WKA

rules. The Race Director discovering a violation of WKA tech rules, and

determines it is a known effort to cheat will confiscate the item and

inform the driver.
